Hello CFBKYC Dinghy Sailors, and welcome to the site. I thought having our own page might help to encourage Club dinghy sailing and be useful in the distribution of information about upcoming sailing events at the Club. Please advise me if you are planning a dinghy sailing event and I will post it here.

Outstanding amongst the characteristics of the CL 14 is her double chined hull which is remarkably stable. She is easy to control and very responsive, pointing high and planing quickly and well. The deep, open cockpit provides dry and comfortable sailing with easily accessible forward storage. The unsinkable hull has all around sealed-in foam bouyancy for safety and support in the event of a capsize. The CL 14 , made of fiberglass, is an excellent dinghy for day sailing and racing, and with her uncomplicated rig, stability and ease of handling, she is particularly suited for teaching purposes. The pivoting centreboard and rudder blade allow sailing in shallow waters and are very helpful when launching the boat.

The Rear Commodore Dinghies is: Blaine Montroy

The Fleet Captain Dinghies is: Nicholas Gauthier
